I bought this glass for my Dad for Christmas ~ there was an issue but I emailed, received a response straight away and they fixed it, so I was very happy. I was a little disappointed that while it does spin, it’s not continuous and does stop after a few turns... my bad, I thought it just kept on spinning!

I bought two cases to give as gifts this holiday season. One set went to a close friend of mine and the other to my father (both are big fans of the whiskey ;) and they were very well received.
The glasses are the perfect size for serving whiskey in, though they could be used for other beverages as well - preferably something to be sipped on as these are smaller glasses (ie - they wouldn't make good water glasses for the table). It's a bit more impressive when left to rest on a hard surface because on a table cloth, it kind of just flops over to a slant without much rocking motion to enjoy but it still makes for a unique conversation piece.
The box the glasses come in is very sturdy and each of the glasses are separated by cardboard compartments and are individually wrapped in paper. All of the glasses arrived in perfect condition.
Would highly recommend this item as a gift or something to buy for your self - I just wish that they didn't start adding their branding/logo to the glasses. Although my father thought it looked nice, I didn't care for it at all, but maybe that's just because I had already formed an expectation of what I should have received. Branding aside, I do plan on purchasing a set for my own use in the near future.

I love these glasses for Scotch and American Whiskies. I found them when I was looking for affordable, clear glasses. The idea that they "moved" was interesting to me, and they were priced well. Upon their arrival I immediately fell in love, while my spouse thought they were silly. The response from visitors who like a glass of whiskey has been enthusiastically yes or utter confusion. I like that. These glasses are a blend of gimmick and beauty. Let's face it, a glass that turns on its base when your add liquid to it makes no sense, and it is hard to pour into these glasses unless you are present like a Zen Master shooting an arrow, i.e., you have to let go of any desire to actually pour any of your over-priced, distilled grain mash into the glass without wasting a drop! Once mastered, you will pour perfectly every time, but as soon as you "try" to get it in the glass, forgettaboutit! In terms of aesthetic, once actually in the glass, the stuff you drink looks great. The thick glass on the bottom adds dimension, and the clarity of the glass allows for the color to shine through. I like it when I set the glass down on our oak table, and it slowly rocks back and forth with the deep amber of the drink dancing like a Scotsman. [FYI - the labels peal off nicely if you soak them in hot water a couple of minutes - nothing is left on the glass]
