A little dissapointed but satisfied. It took 2 and a half months to arrive. I was sure I got scamed! Yet, great surprise when it finally arrived! The globe is smaller then advertised. It is 850 ml. Also, the stand is pine with your choice of finish. It is very fragile and light-weight. Regardless, I think my nephew will love it at Christmas! Thank you Wiskiria!

Arrived very quickly, was a little disappointed with the condition of outer packaging who ever shipped item must have been very rough handlers; thank goodness everything was packaged very well and secure inside. I purchased as a very special ‘Thank you’ gift for my surgeon who operated on me for cancer tumour. On the wooden block that supported arm for the decanter there was quite a distinct deep scratch, I was disappointed as the cost was not cheap and the rest of the workmanship was excellent. Fortunately when I took it to be engraved they were able to disguise it for me.
I would recommend this item as good craftsmanship, but there needs to be better care when inspecting for final shipment, and those packing the items to take more care of this precious item.
I haven’t had my 6 monthly checkup with my surgeon yet, so I am hoping when I give it to him he is delighted with this unusual show piece.
